I was born and raised in the Soviet Union, the city of Dushanbe. Knife magic bewitched me since my childhood. Being a boy I could look for half-hour at a knife with the inscription "only on the basis of hunting license showing" in the show-case of a hunting shop.
Our Soviet folding "Duk-Duk" was a boyish joy, along with a set of a knife and a fork, placed into blue plastic sheath in the form of a pike. I made little daggers for my friends –long needles enlaced by colored telephone wire in the form of a handle and sheath. Outside we were playing "knives" - various sports sticking – either in the ground or into a fence.
After reading a huge amount of literature on costume knives I plunged into this world completely. Now I’m in a free creative work state, collect knives in time free from the main job, looking for my style, I work with natural materials only - walrus tusk, elk horn, wood, leather, birch bark. I also make small daggers.
p.s. I do not make cold arms!
