I liked knives since I was a child, I made my first knife at the age of 12. It was a simple metal thing sharpened with a file, having a wooden handle. I made some more, two or three knives before my army service, life didn’t allow me to do this. Around 2014 I decided to try to make a knife again. Here we go, I made a furnace, then a grinder. Now I don’t know how to live without it. It can be one knife that take a lot of time to be made, but going back home after work to grind a blade – that is perfect relaxation.
I forge blades myself or buy ready ones depending on a budget. I prefer ShKh15, though I worked with other steels as well.
I also make key charms, and plates with owners’ names and phone numbers for dog collars.
p.s. I do not make cold arms!
